So the surgery went alright, and now I have a full-arm cast. That basically means that I cannot do any of the following things without assistance: * Take off my shirt * Tie my shoes * Clean my glasses * Open some doors * Carry anything that requires more than one hand * Put on jewelry * Wash my hair * Clip my nails * Scratch my back ...The list goes on. I cannot even touch my forefinger to my thumb. So that completely rules out any form of art that I intended on attempting. And I can't get my cast wet at all, or I'll have to go into the hospital to have it replaced, as I still have stitches over the incisions and a pin sticking out

So I'm getting surgery on my right wrist tomorrow to correct three different things that are wrong with it. Basically in the summer when I'm most likely to want to sit down and draw for a few hours, I will be completely incapable. There's a minuscule possibility that the mobility of my fingers will be relatively unaffected and that I'll still be able to write and draw and paint... But it's doubtful. I will be back to my artwork in late August, but until then... See ya.
